Teach them from generation to generation.
At Bakerville, we allow them to ask questions, participate in morning worship, and just to play – like God’s Children. Each Sunday, children are asked to come up front for a message given just for them! Following the Children’s Message those 4 and older are invited downstairs to the children’s space where screened caregivers will provide a loving, nurturing, and safe environment including play, songs, crafts, and Bible stories.
BUMC is also home to the Bakerville Community Nursery School (BCNS), a ministry that cares for the young and growing. BCNS provides a warm, caring environment, embracing individuality. Children learn through play focusing on all developmental domains. Kindergarten readiness is a goal, including an extended day once a week.
